FOW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1998 to provide long-term sustainability for Camp Winnataska. FOW is run by a volunteer board that continuously launches initiatives to enhance “the camp that we love the best of all.” Fund-raising opportunities include events, donation requests, memorials, and grant applications which solicit funds from individuals, families, corporations, foundations, and other granting organizations. Money raised provides long-term sustainability to grant camperships, improve facilities, support programs, and keep fees low, allowing more children to experience “Christian Camping at its Best!”

Meetings of the Friends of Winnataska Board of Directors are held monthly, alternating between virtual meetings and the Hoover Public Library. They typically are held on the 4th Monday. They are open to the public. Please email info@friendsofwinnataska.org to verify meeting location, date and time.
